SUI-104
Brief info
A 1982 design by Pelle Petterson, one of two built for the Europeans in Helsinki that same year. Helmed by Pelle Petterson, it went on to win the 1983 World Cup in Newport Beach.
After that – and a change of keel – it became Dietrich Gruenau's GER104 Courage VII, with which Dieter finished 3rd at the World Championships in Hango in 1999 and 2nd in Saint-Tropez in 2003. It also finished 2nd at the 2000 European Championships in Saint-Tropez, and 3rd in 2002 in Denmark and in 2004 in Porto Rotondo.
Beat Furrer, a former president of ISMA, then bought her and finished 7th in Flensburg in 2006. He then finished 3rd at the 2010 European Championships in Brunnen, 5th at the World Championships in Helsinki, and again 5th at the 2012 European Championships in Nynashamn.
